The truth is that each and every one of us has the ability to impact our life and the world we live in; to create something bigger, grander, better. There is no real security except knowing that we can change most anything we are experiencing. We are powerful creators and sometimes create something we wish we had not, but it is the meaning we attach to our experiences that determines the outcome. The meaning that we place on our experiences is entirely up to us and by changing the meaning we can determine the outcome. If we are facing a challenge will we give it the meaning of tragedy and overwhelm becoming victims of circumstance or will we decide it is our greatest opportunity to grow and create something bigger in our lives? The decision is entirely ours.

Our heroes, teachers, and mentors are never people who haven’t been tested. They are always those who have face the most difficult of challenges and created great victories from them.
